- Wait for the local anesthesia to fully wear off before consuming hot foods or drinks and be cautious during the numbness period.
- Do not smoke for at least 2 weeks as it will affect the healing.
- Do not drink alcoholic drinks while you are taking antibiotics or pain killers.
- Use ice packs to reduce any swelling, bruising and pain (Seek dentist if pain or swelling does not decrease after a few days).
- Attend follow-up appointments to monitor healing and address concerns.See dentist at once if your pain or swelling worsens of if you develop a fever.
- Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing gently. It’s crucial to follow any specific instructions provided by your dentist regarding oral care.
- Take the antibiotics and painkillers as prescribed to reduce bacterial load and prevent infection. Please ensure you finish the course of antibiotics.
- Monitor Symptoms: Watch for any unusual symptoms, such as increased swelling or prolonged pain, and contact the dental office if they occur.

1. Regular Checkup and Cleaning: Bacteria builds up on the teeth naturally after some time, which cannot be removed by just brushing. This causes tooth decay and gum disease. To avoid that, please let us professionally clean and check your teeth for decay and other issues at least once every 6 months.
2. Following Dentist's Instructions: Follow all the instructions regarding a soft diet, gum and teeth management, and careful use and care of any dental restorations.
3. Good Oral Hygiene: Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing your teeth twice a day and following any special instructions your dentist or hygienist has given you to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy.
4. Please notify us and come in for a check immediately once you encounter any problems after the treatment. Any delay may result in more damage to the condition.
