Botox Treatment Introduction

Botulinum toxin (Dysport®) is used to temporarily improve the appearance of facial wrinkles and for specific treatments like jawline reshaping, reduction of chin dimpling, correction of downturned lips and softening of frown lines. Botox is also increasingly used to treat TMJ disorders, offering a non-surgical solution to alleviate jaw tension and discomfort. For gummy smiles that may not be fully corrected by laser treatment alone, combining it with Botox often yields better results. Botox reduces gum visibility by relaxing the upper lip muscles, enhancing smile aesthetics. This combination treatment is fast and minimally invasive.

The effects generally last from 3 to 6 months, varying between individuals. Touch-up treatment may be necessary to maintain the results.
