Dentures
Rediscover your smile — Comfortable dentures designed just for you.
What Are Dentures?
Dentures, or false teeth, are removable appliances that replace missing teeth and restore your smile. They are essential for anyone who has lost teeth. They’re usually made from durable materials like acrylic (plastic) and sometimes metal, carefully crafted to fit comfortably in your mouth. Think of them as a custom-made set of teeth that lets you eat, speak and smile with confidence.
We understand that losing teeth isn’t just about looks—it can also make everyday activities harder. Chewing your favourite foods becomes more challenging, talking might feel awkward or unclear and tooth loss can affect your self-esteem, making you shy about smiling or joining conversations.
With well-fitting dentures, you can now enjoy life’s moments. Whether you’re savouring a meal with friends, engaging in lively conversations or simply smiling freely, dentures help you feel confident and at ease.
How Losing Teeth Affects The Way You Look
Losing teeth can have a noticeable impact on your appearance. Dentures help by filling in the gaps left by missing teeth, which restores your face’s natural contour. They also support your cheeks and lips, giving you a more youthful look.
Teeth play a big role in keeping your cheeks looking full and firm. When you lose teeth, the cheeks will lose their shape and start to look hollow or saggy. This can make the face appear more gaunt and aged since the natural contour is disrupted.
Without teeth, the lips become thinner and less plump. This is because the muscles around the mouth weaken too, causing the lips to look longer and less defined, which can make you look older.
Loss of teeth can impact how your jaw lines up, which then causes the chin to look more protruded. This change can throw off the balance of your facial features.
When teeth are missing, the jawbone shrinks over time, losing its ability to support the facial features properly. This can lead to a sunken or shorter appearance of the face, with more wrinkles around the lips. The space between the nose and chin also shrinks, leading to a decreased lower facial height.

How Are Digital Dentures Made At Dental Designs?
Step 1: Scan
Say goodbye to messy, gooey impression materials that used to go in your mouth. Now, we use a high-tech intraoral scanner—a small camera that takes detailed images of your teeth and gums, effectively scanning your mouth.
Step 2: Design
The images are uploaded to our dental software, where we plan and design your custom denture. Since we have our dental lab right here in the clinic, our dentists can fine-tune and design your denture exactly how you need it.
Step 3: Create
After we finalise the design, we use either a 3D printer or a milling machine to fabricate your denture. This technology helps us create a denture that fits perfectly and feels comfortable, just for you.

Do your current dentures keep slipping off?
The shape of your gums and jawbone can change over time, causing your dentures to become loose. At Dental Designs Clinic, we offer Relining and Rebasing services to give your existing ones a better fit.
Did you know dentures can also be supported by dental implants, hence anchoring them firmly in place? These are called implant-supported dentures.
Imagine the confidence you'll gain knowing your dentures won't slip—laugh, eat and talk without worry!

This dental clinic has very good staff who are well trained and friendly. The dentists are also very good and will explain the treatment in detail before starting treatment. The equipment is very high tech and I believe they are able to do high quality work as I did my crown here and it looks much better than my colleague who also recently did his at another place. The waiting room is also very comfortable. good job!

This clinic is one of the best I have ever seen. I saw dr Justin for my implant which I did many years ago, the tooth was loose, and other drs told me to remove it as they could not find out what brand it was but dr Justin was able to take 3d xrays and locate the brand and specially ordered the part in. he saved me from having to do a surgery to remove and put a new implant which would have cost me a bomb. the tooth looks even better than the original thanks to the experieced dental technician Katsuya from Japan.
Very happy and will keep coming back for my regular dental.

my workplace is close by and I had a problem with my tooth for a few days, so I made an appointment to come down. The receptionist who booked my appointment was very helpful and friendly to explain the way to the clinic from my office. I saw Dr Nicholas who was able to do a root canal treatment on the same visit so that I didn't need to come back. I felt safe and comfortable to do my dental treatment here as the dental picks are all wrapped up and sterilized and only opened before each treatment when im inside.

The Importance of Proper Denture Care
Maintaining good oral hygiene as well as denture hygiene is important. This can be achieved in the following ways.
- Remove your dentures before going to bed and soak them in warm (not hot) water. Hot water can cause warping of your false teeth.
- Use a denture cleaner rather than abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the surface of your dentures.
- Clean your denture using a soft-bristled denture brush to remove plaque and debris.
- If you use denture adhesive, make sure to remove any residue during cleaning.
- Regular visits to your dentist are also important for monitoring your oral health and ensuring your dentures fit well.
Cost of Dentures in Singapore
The cost of dentures depends on the individualised treatment plan created by your dentist. This plan takes into account various factors, including the type of dentures, the materials used and the number of teeth that need to be replaced.
Partial dentures are designed to replace only the missing teeth while preserving the remaining natural ones. For acrylic partial dentures, prices start from $799.35.
For patients who have lost all their natural teeth, we offer complete dentures (conventional and digital). Conventional complete dentures are usually less expensive initially. However, they may require more frequent adjustments and repairs over time, which can add to the overall cost and inconvenience.
Digital complete dentures (3D printed and milled) come with a higher upfront cost due to the use of modern technology and materials. Despite this higher initial investment, they often provide better long-term value. Digital dentures are made with precise digital scans, leading to an accurate fit and enhanced durability.
During your consultation, your dentist will thoroughly assess your specific needs and provide a detailed breakdown of the costs involved. They will also discuss alternative treatment options, helping you make an informed decision that aligns with your treatment goals and budget.
